Gentle mountain meadows that are lush green against a breathtaking backdrop. Moss-covered forests in which only your own heartbeat can be heard. And perhaps an invisible tawny owl calling.
A holiday in the mountains – are you the type?
At the latest when your heart swells after reading the above lines, you will know that she is a mountain type. You can already smell the unique Tyrolean mountain air in your mind. Rich, heavy and earthy in the forests, sunny and spicy along our meadows and alpine paths and inimitably clear and fresh at the mountain summit or on snowfields. Just as you have the scent of the mountains in you, you also know what they feel like. The yielding moss on the forest floor and the unyielding rock on the via ferrata. And yet everything is so clear and calm. Simply unique, as only a holiday in the mountains can be.
Nature and the mountains through the seasons
In summer you can cover countless kilometres on the Seefeld plateau hiking, climbing, rafting, golfing, riding, mountain biking …. In winter you can experience nature while skiing, snowboarding, touring, snowshoeing or a romantic sleigh ride. You will discover unique flora, shy wild animals, lush meadows, snow-covered mountains, beautiful powder snow and (almost always) a bright blue sky that stands out razor-sharp against the breathtaking mountain panorama. Our guests call it luxury – we call it home.
Conquering the mountains from the mountain resort
Because right in the middle of it all are our small mountain villages. Retreats for people who, after the mountain experience, are drawn back to their own kind. Perhaps you can already read it between the lines. We Kaltschmids love this corner of the world! And we are happy when our guests feel the same way. We will be happy to explain how to get to the Grubenkarspitze or the Hohe Gleirsch. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, the hiking tours on the Brunschkopf or the Karwendel hiking trail are a good choice. Also very nice: simply enjoy the mountains from the comfort of one of our wonderful spas. Because one thing is for sure, you can see the mountains from every one of our houses – to the hotels!
Holidays in the mountains call for inner rest
Many guests also simply use the silence of the mountains on holiday to find themselves again. To recover. To recharge their batteries. It almost seems as if our snow-covered peaks and craggy rock faces are silent reminders to take a break. To take it a little slower again. To change our perspective. To question what seems so important to us. Often our daily stress then becomes quite insignificant and small.
Recharge your batteries & relax
At Alpenpark Resort Seefeld, the name says it all. The hotel is furnished in Tyrolean country house style and it almost seems as if you could swim from the pool directly into the surrounding mountains around Seefeld.
The Bergresort Seefeld is in no way inferior to this. And if you have a hiking-loving dog for a best friend, he is equally welcome in this house and enjoys a variety of amenities.
The Alpenlove – Adult Spa Hotel is our romantic stronghold for couples. And as even these occasionally leave our lovingly furnished “cuddle nests” or “love suites”, romantic carriage rides and invigorating hikes through the picturesque Tyrolean mountains await them outside.

The Kaltschmid Familotel is located in the middle of Seefeld’s pedestrian zone. Numerous leisure facilities, from fitness centre, billiard pub, fundisco, adventure panorama indoor pool to the kids’ club, can also be enjoyed embedded in a unique mountain panorama.
